Ebony is a high-quality, dense, and durable wood. It doesn't absorb water and requires no lacquer or special coating.
While it’s best to avoid showering or swimming with the ring, nothing serious will happen if you do. If the wood looks a bit dry, simply rub a tiny amount of any kitchen oil on it — olive oil works perfectly.
